Venice Black and White
January 3, 2007 I landed at Venice's Marco Polo Airport. For 9 days I stayed at the Savoia e Yolanda Hotel on the Riva Sciavoni. I hired a woman who lived in the region through the help of Craig's List. She is wearing and posing in traditional garb in and around Venice. I particularly like the black and white images, because they depict the mood and the weather which only dropped a couple of raindrops on my head the entire trip. There are some pictures of Verona, including the balcony where Juliet stood and the paver streets. The church, fountain and statue in the fog are in Padova. Enjoy!
